The 4th of a Lie

What does "independence" mean to you?

Tomorrow a 4th of the people in this country will be celebrating their independence. Others will be running and hiding from ICE. Some will be mourning their political choices. Some will be wondering if this is the last month they will have Medicaid/Medicare. Some will be wondering if their pre-scheduled surgeries will be paid for. Mental health professionals will be worried if their clients will be able to continue treatment. Some families will be using their last bit of money after they pay bills; to eat, buy gas or have a bit of entertainment. They cannot afford to do all three. Those who reside in an overpopulated jail, with little to no rehabilitation; will be wondering when they will be free. Race divisions are on an all time rise to the point some will remain home out of fear of being attacked. Puffy is basically free after we had to endure weeks of hearing about his sex life and how he treats women. As well as, we had to listen to how women viewed themselves in relation to money and high statuses. That trial was very draining. I never knew baby oil was used in so many manners. I personally will be using Shea butter from here on. Last but not least, Trump's Big Beautiful Bill has passed.

But to the 4th that will be celebrating their independence. Light the grill, have a hot dog and/or hamburger, do the electric slide and enjoy the fireworks. As for me, I will be escaping it all by peacefully staying inside with my puppy. No hot

dogs, hamburgers, no grill, no fireworks. Just prayer for a Nation so divided.
